The Role

Superform Labs is looking for an experienced designer to lead all product design related efforts for Superform. You’ll report directly to our head of product and co-founder as the sole product designer on the team. Your day to day will consist of research, design, and collaboration with the broader team. You will design the best way to earn and distribute yield on chain, emphasizing clarity, transparency, and beauty.

What you’ll do

• Lead design of the Superform App user experience - crafting new user experiences and continually improving existing ones

• Maintain and develop the Superform design system

• Collaborate daily with product and engineering

• Be boots on the ground, collecting user feedback and using that to inform and improve the app

• Occasionally collaborate with our contract visual designers to develop branding & marketing content

Who you are:

• Exceptional attention to detail, capable of delivering pixel-perfect designs when necessary

• Deep understanding of design principles, relating to typography, color, and layout - with the flexibility to adhere to or deviate from them based on the project needs

• Comprehensive understanding of the design process, from research to delivery - adaptable to both rapid turnarounds and long-term projects

• Handing off your designs to engineers always goes smoothly because you provide fleshed out prototypes and clear requirements

• You have a strong why behind every decision, ensuring that designs are not only visually appealing but also functionally effective

• Passionate about staying informed of the landscape of comparable products, regularly exploring other crypto apps to bring innovative ideas and best practices into Superform’s design strategy

• Possess the versatility to handle branding & marketing design tasks on occasion

• Capable of understanding technical products at a deep level

• Take pride in high-quality craftsmanship

• You have great taste

Table Stakes

• Strong project management skills, able to prioritize, time manage, self-organize, and work autonomously with minimal supervision. Capable of taking initiative to solve problems originating from engineers or users without needing repeated instructions or reminders

• Eager to work in a driven, small team environment and participate in strengthening its culture, ready to embrace challenges, innovate, and have fun in a fast-paced setting

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of design experience

• Strong fluency in Figma

• Experience building and maintaining design systems

• Ability to overlap at least 4 hours with US east coast time zone

Nice to have:

• Have worked in crypto/web3 or fintech

• Some sort of formal design education

• Some coding experience

• Technical/content writing skills

• Experience with prototyping tools like Origami, Framer, and Principle

• Solid understanding of user research
